Party Wall Services
The Party Wall Act is an important piece of legislation, providing a framework for preventing and resolving disputes in relation to party walls, boundary walls and excavations near neighbouring buildings.
If you are undertaking works to your property, you may need to serve a notice upon your neighbours. Our party wall surveyors will help to facilitate friendly and effective communication with your neighbour. The Party Wall Act ensures, should any damage occur, that it will be dealt with in a fair and reasonable way that leaves all parties satisfied.

Advising under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
The Hopps Partnership is well placed to support principal designers with advice and assistance in complying with the revised Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM Regulations) and many of the other important regulations that help keep construction sites safe.
The aim of the CDM Regulations is to make health and safety an essential and integral part of the planning and management of projects, ensuring that everyone works together to reduce the risk to the personal safety of those who work on the structure.
Our surveyors are trained in current health and safety legislation and would be happy to guide you in your role as either a client outright or as a principal designer or contractor, where you will be required to prepare a construction phase plan before works can begin. Please feel free to call us to discuss your specific requirements.
Formalising Crane Oversail Licenses and Formalising Scaffold and Access Licences
We can ensure that these licenses are in place, so that no trespass occurs and injunctions on work are avoided. Please feel free to call us to discuss your specific requirements.
Contract administration is the process of ensuring that, first, the correct contract is used for a construction scheme, and second, the terms of that contract are adhered to. A contract administrator will inspect the works, give instructions to the contractor, deal with variations and changes in the contract, authorise interim payments, certify the date of completion and settle the adjusted contract sum. The Hopps Partnership can guide you through your contract and would be happy to advise you from the outset.
